TECHNICIAN, KIMBALL WEBSTER

Kimball is the newest member on our team and is quickly earning his place as a well respected and permanent family member with a wide range of talents. Familiar with automotive repair and service along with knowing his way around motorcycles and metalwork, Kimball stays pretty busy all the time.

Originally  from Greensburg IN. Kimball's first job at age 15 was pumping gas at a full service gas station where he became interested in automotive repair. After high school he completed Hunter alignment school in St. Louis and went on to work for an NHRA Pro-stock dragster team and then made his way to managing a repair shop in Pittsburg CA.

As he worked his way west for many years he gained experience in welding, fabrication, construction and wind-power generators.

With a strong passion for old muscle cars and motorcycles Kimball has learned what it takes to make horsepower and performance.
He told me "I love anything with a spark plug"

His time off is usually spent playing music as a drummer and was even an Olympic gold metal winner for his skill as a billiard player.

OWNER, MASTER CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN, BILL RAPER

Owner and lead technician, Bill Raper is ASE master certified. and grew up in and around Sedona. In High school, Bill was in the top of his class in auto shop and welding. He kept his first pickup truck and several motorcycles running by trial and error. He probably made every mistake possible but fortunately learned from them. He worked at a full service gas station in the Village of Oak Creek pumping gas and checking fluid levels and tires. He then went to work at Sedona Chevron doing the same thing when his employer noticed the true desire that Bill had of becoming a mechanic. He sent Bill to the Arizona Automotive Institute in Glendale Arizona, Moving him, his new wife and the first of four children. While attending trade school at night Bill worked as an entry level technician at a dealership and then an independent repair shop. Shortly after graduating Bill moved back into the Verde Valley area where he eventually became lead technician  in a local dealership. While employed by dealerships Bill attended extensive training and education and has continued to do so ever since. His life long dream has been to own and operate his own repair shop bringing into it all that he had learned. That dream came true in 2005 when he took a leap of faith and opened his first shop (NOSHO'S AUTO & CYCLE) in a rented 700 square foot building with a borrowed $1500. Bill has managed to turn that tiny little shop into what Red Rock Auto & Cycle is today by sticking to his motto. Honesty with Integrity, Fair pricing, quality workmanship with a warranty.

CERTIFIED MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN, DERRICK KREIS

I met Derrick in May of 2008 through a group of friends. He and I hit it off as best friends almost immediately. We share many of the same interests and talents. I was just getting my business rolling when he started hanging around and we built a couple motorcycles together. I noticed how extremely talented he is and that he is also a certified welder.

Derrick grew up in Main and New Hampshire, riding snowmobiles and dirt bikes, and like myself, he had to learn to repair them if he wanted to keep riding.

This guy is an absolute wild-man on a motorcycle and quad.  racing professionally in many types of motorsports  for several years Derrick has traveled nationally and his riding skills are tough to match. He is a total blast to ride with and is always looking for a reason or excuse to get in the wind with anyone who thinks they can keep up.

After High school, Derrick moved to Phoenix where he attended MMI and became certified with Yamaha, and Polaris. Later, while employed at another motorcycle repair shop he became a certified Victory technician.

Mechanically talented and a true desire to please each and every customer  Derrick has earned a permanent position at Red Rock Auto and Cycle as a top rated motorcycle technician.

As a newly-wed  Derrick enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and his kids. Riding motorcycles is
his passion for fun.                                                           (Written by owner Bill Raper)
